Philppe Guez

Philippe Guez

Philippe founded Guez Partners in 2017 with the aim to be the leading investment banking boutique in Israel and provide value added advice on cross border Israeli-related transactions.

Philippe has over 30 years of investment banking experience in Europe and Israel. Among the many roles he has held, Philippe was a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank and Head of Global Banking Division in France. More recently he was a Managing Director of Rothschild & Co. and Executive Vice Chairman of Rothschild & Co. Israel.

Philippe has been involved in hundreds of transactions in Equity Capital Markets and Cross Border M&A transactions in Europe and in Israel.

Philippe is Chairman of the French-Israel commission of the French Business confederation (MEDEF ) and a board member of the French Israel Chamber of commerce (CCFI).

Philippe holds a BA in economics and accounting, and a MBA & CPA degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Eric Elalouf

Eric Elalouf 

Eric brings 20 years of experience in financial analysis and equity capital markets advisory.​

Eric has started his career as a sell-side Technology analyst at Warburg Dillon Read and Credit Suisse First Boston in Paris and London (1998-2001).

In 2001, he joined Deutsche Bank’s French equity research team, which he headed until 2008. Eric was ranked # 1 generalist analyst in 2004/05/06/07 (Extel Survey).

In 2008, Eric moved to the buy-side at PAI Partners, before setting up his independent research boutique, Akkadia Advisory in 2010. 

Eric has lectured at Dauphine University between 2001 and 2015, most recently as Affiliated Professor. Eric graduated from Dauphine University in 1998 (Post graduate in Corporate Finance ) and he also holds a French CPA degree

Roy David

Roy David

Prior to co founding Guez partners, Roy was a managing partner at Ridgeback capital partners, an Israeli boutique investment bank that he co-founded in 2015.  Prior to Ridgeback, Roy headed the investment banking group at Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s largest Bank. Roy has led dozens of successful transactions including sell side and buy side M&As, private placements and public offerings. Roy is a frequent speaker, moderator and commentator on issues relating to cross border M&A.

Prior to joining Poalim Capital Markets Roy was a senior associate at Davis Polk in New York, where he advised leading investment banking firms and Fortune 500 companies on M&A and capital markets transactions with a total value exceeding $20 billion.
Roy holds an LLM from Columbia University where he was a James Kent Scholar (highest honors) and an LLB (first in his class) from the College of Management.
